Make sure you are wearing the trousers when taking the measurement to accommodate for the extra give that the fabric will add to your normal waist/skin measurement. Failing that, measure around the skin and add one inch. Please note - be sure to measure at the point where you want the belt and trousers to sit on your body, as your sizing will vary with low, mid & high-waisted cuts.
