If you’re don’t pee, you feel like a water balloon with too much water, you feel like you are “bursting”. I think it’s a common expression. There are no polite ways to talk about poo like that. “I’m constipated” may be one, but it’s more medical. You CANNOT poo, even if you sit down and try. There’s plenty of impolite ways to talk about poo, though.
