Vintage 50/50, wool/cotton union suit, long underwear or drawers. Buttons up the front, button drawers. This garment is fairly soft, though it is part wool so there is some texture. Very handsome, warm union suit and would be cozy on a skiing or backpacking trip. Durable, moisture wicking and the wool will keep bacteria and odor away. Still practical in modern time. Lovely piece of undergarment history. Wright’s made undergarments for many years, beginning in 1891 and ending well into the 20th century. They made clothing for children, women and men. Shoulder, 15 Underarm, 17 to 18/19 Waist, 15 to 18 Hip/seat, 18 to 20 Arm, shoulder to cuff, 22 Inseam, 28 Condition is very good to excellent, vintage preowned. There are some oxidation spots, mostly in one side thigh. I have not washed this garment yet, but will likely do that in the next week and update if the doors faded. They are more pronounced in photos and blend somewhat with the mottled character of the blended knit.
