Originally, this belt was designed to go with the April dress, one of our paid designs (shown in the photos). But the Gemma tie belt is such a simple, versatile design that we decided to make it available for free. We have also styled it with the Lola dress with the ruffle sleeve expansion.You will find Gemma an easy and quick sew. Make Gemma in the same fashion fabric as your garment, or play around with contrast colours.You can also play around with extra techniques if you are feeling adventurous, such as adding piping, gathers, or playing around with grainlines to achieve different effects.
