The Mercator and OTTER knife, these two terms are closely related. Now there is also a knife that shows this connection. We have reissued the Otter Mercator pocket knife in its historical form. Instead of the classic black steel case, the handle is now made of brass. The noble look of the metal is completed by the embossed OTTER. Despite the elegant appearance, this Mercator knife also has the usual properties. It's slim, functional and reliable. OTTER knives are made in Solingen, Germany. This model is the small, non-lockable brass knife. Blade steel: C75 /1.4034 (stainless). Handle material: brass. Blade length: approx. 80 mm. Handle length: about 100mm. Weight: about 54g Please note: Since brass is a very soft material, small processing marks cannot always be avoided when making knives.
