Inflating is easier and quicker regardless if you use tire inserts or not. Instead of using fingers to tighten the lock ring, the main air-port is machined for a 4mm allen key tool, making it super easy to secure the valve to the rim. Plastic and not Anodized valve caps are used to minimize weight.
