Our herringbone pattern tunic has a tweed-like stitch in a lightweight yarn. We designed this unusual horizontal herringbone stitch, making it unique to Inis Meáin. This seamless garment is knitted in a very fine gauge, its light weight makes it ideal as a special stand-alone knit for year-round chilly days, and perfect for sophisticated winter layering. The subtle all-over herringbone pattern, use of horizontal chevron stitches and roll trim details provide extra interest to this classic sweater. It is knitted in the only 100% extrafine merino yarn made entirely in Italy, crafted by heritage producer Zegna Baruffa, and made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Available in new colours, warm Burgundy Marl and classic Grey, as well as Navy Mix - a beautiful mélange of navy and dark brown; a rich Rust Marl, and a soft Taupe Marl. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
