A Genie Bottle contains a genie whose sole purpose is to grant three wishes for whoever controls it. They can also force the genie to obey them against their will. Each bottle contains only one genie. Ownership of the bottle is swayed if someone else picks it up. In 2000, the Council sent a bottle to the Charmed Ones. Phoebe unwittingly released the genie when she brushed off some dust on it. The next morning after freeing himself, the genie willingly returned to the bottle to reverse the damage
