The CHAMPRO Optimus Pro Plus is a durable chest protector that is SEI certified to meet NOCSAE standards for Commotio Cordis in baseball. More compact than competing chest protectors, the cardiac pad’s low profile design enables easy movement and flexibility when crouched behind the plate. Multilayered low-rebound foam prevents balls from bouncing wildly, maximizing catchers’ blocking and retrieving efficiency. The contour-molded Dri-Gear liner wicks away moisture and helps keep catchers comfortable and dry on hot days, while the Bio-Fresh treatment provides an extra level of freshness preservation. The shoulder cap snaps on and off for removal or repositioning, so catchers can adjust it to their preference.
